Hi!, We are still trying to decide to stay with this website for "free blogging" or move on as we've been having trouble posting photos. It's nice for everyone to be able to click on the photos and print if you wish instead of having to order & pay for them off the easy share program. We'll see..
Anyway, here are some fun stories I've been needing to write out:
Libby: "Annalee, you're just the nicest girl and sister I ever had!" "When I grow up, I'm going to be a Mommy because then I'll know everything and be the boss of the house (!) and a Pilot so I can be fast like Daddy!" "Annalee has such beautiful skin." When I grow up I'm going to fly a plane so I can bring the babies home from China" "Mommy, when you die, I'll be the Mommy for you but before you die I'll drive you anywhere you need to go." "When Daddy dies, Walt will be the Daddy and we'll take care of Annalee" "I can't wait until we're in Heaven and we can all see each other." "you're all the bestest family I ever had"
Walt: "Well, I guess when I grow up I'll be going to China for my baby, too" "I'll fly airplanes to deliver money to the families in China so they can keep their babies if they want to and I'll be the builder of their houses so they'll have room for all their babies" One afternoon Walt & I were playing trains in the basement and he had the tracks laid out with block houses, etc all around... "Well, welcome to my historical city (Yes, he loves the history channel!). We don't have a lot of stuff here but we're all happy people because we have each other. Some people have more than others but the rest of us don't mind. I actually have more paper than anyone else but that's because I'm a writer of all the historical stuff - then I send it off to make books!" "Whatever money I make, I'll give it away to people because I don't need much" He's also going to be a "deer rescuer", skyscraper builder, etc. Before our neighborhood was about to be added on to, we were taking a walk. Walt said, wow, look at the view! Brent said, yes, that's a great sunset. Walt said , No! Look at the view! Look at all the houses I can build here! Isn't it just beautiful?? Brent said, uh-oh, maybe we better not move to Montana after all....!!
Annalee: she is putting more complex sentences together all the time. At Mama's house this summer, she said, "I have an idea!" while we were out on the porch playing. She ran in the play room to get "tools" to work on the tent - she was fixing her house. She tells us constantly that she loves us (she's mastered the hand sign for that after working on it for months!). About 4 mos ago, she began saying "Mama, I'm so happy!" Yes, melts your heart and gives me chills! When I fixed her hair in several pony tails one day, she looked in the mirror and said, "I look Chinese!" It's the first time we've known she has noticed any difference. She remembers her Nanny when looking at a photo of them together and says that's her "China Mama" (very common for the children to call their Nannies Mama). She's been home with us for just over 1 yr now - seems like she's been here always.
Well, I didn't proof this but it's getting late.
Love to all,
All of us
